Hey Guys and Gals,

This fine young fella has contacted me after finding my website. He is doing a school project (report I think) and has elected luthiery as his topic. He is located in Sacromento Calif. I would love to assist him but I am crippled in two areas. One, I live a long ways away and two I well read and little practised in guitarmaking and he would benefit from from experience than I. What I am really hoping for is that some in the area would be able to help him out and maybe even arrange to have him see the process underway.

Here is a copy of the last e-mail I just sent to him:

"Hasani,

I am going to post your request on Luthiery to the forum where I advertise. You can go there and see it. the forum is www.luthiersforum.com (there is another one that is lutheirforum.com so make sure that you add the "s"). I am sure that someone will help you out and if they don't I most certainly will.

Keep up the interest!

Shane."

Is any available to keep this young fire kindled?

Thanks in advance!

Shane

Shane I never met a luthier that doesn't like to talk about guitars. Johns a nice guy too so it won't hurt to ask.

I am within about an hour of Sacramento depending on which side of town he is located. You can give him my email address if you'd like.

John Mello is in Kensington, immediately to the north of Berkeley, about 90
miles from Sacramento. I dunno about Scaremento.
